Reciprocal Reading

Our school is encouraging a new reading method called Reciprocal Reading. Mrs Kielstra talked about it at the Inspire workshop. Here is the Power Point that explains how it works.

Mr Baker's Spellings 30.11.10

This week's spellings look at prefixes - AUTO, BI & TELE. Learn the words on the list and find a few more that work with these prefixes.
Don't forget about the new word at the bottom. Make it a good one, but be sure it can be used easily.

Homework Free Weekend

As year 6 have had such a busy week and have worked so hard on the Advent Fayre; Mr Baker and I have decided not to give you any written homework for the weekend. You are however, expected to learn your lines for the Nativity Play and ensure that all reading is completed - we also encourage you to be familiar with the story of "A Christmas Carol."

There will however be some work available to print-off or links to play for Mr Kelly's Lit and Maths group.
