Welcome Back!

Welcome back everyone! 

School starts back on Tuesday 2nd September at 8:40am.

OUR YEAR 6 INSPIRE IS ON THURSDAY 4th SEPTEMBER at 8:50am.

We look forward to seeing you and your grown ups there!

Please remember to bring in your PE kits THIS AND EVERY WEDNESDAY.

Maths homework will be set on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening.

Literacy comprehension will be set on a Friday evening.

Each week you will also have a set of spellings to learn and nightly reading.

In our first week back in Literacy we will be recounting what we did in the holidays.

In Maths we will be looking at place value.

In RE we will be exploring our school mission statement and writing our own.

We can not wait to see you all and hear all about your summer holidays!!!

The Final Week of Term

There are LOTS of things happening this week!!


On Monday we will be practicing our assembly. You MUST know all your script and song words for this.


On Tuesday we have our KEY STAGE TWO awards assembly at 8:50am.


In the afternoon we are performing our Leaver's Assembly to KS1.


On Wednesday we have our Leaver's Assembly. It starts at 8:50 am and your grown ups are very welcome!!


On Thursday Year 6 are leading the liturgy at Leaver's mass. This will be at 10am in Church.

On Thursday evening it is the Year 6 Leaver's DISCO. 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Please remember your slip and money on MONDAY.

On Friday we will be signing shirts. The shirt you want to sign must come in a bag on Friday morning.

We will also be:

-completing work on the Hajj pilgrimage.

- completing some ICT work on coding.

-creating some Islamic art for our display.
- AND MUCH MORE!!!

Music Assembly!

                              Don't Forget to bring your guitars for an extra lesson on Monday!
Year 6 and Year 5 have their music assembly on Thursday morning at 8:50am. All grown ups are welcome to join us in the hall!!

Learning about the Islamic Faith!

Next week is our multifaith week. In Year 6 we will be learning about the Islamic faith. What do you already know? We will be discussing these three images and much more.
