Confirmation Meeting

Don't forget that there is an important meeting about Confirmation in the School Hall at 7:00pm on Thursday 4th June. A grown up for each child needs to be present.

Getting ready for Confirmation.

In the first week back after half term, we will be preparing for Confirmation in a number of ways:

Firstly we will be looking at  / revisiting the links between the sacrament of Baptism and the sacrament of Confirmation.

We will also be revising the way that the Church is organised and our role within our diocese and our parish.

We will be visiting Church to practice for our Confirmation masses.  Please make sure that you have waterproof coats for this!

Happy Half Term!

Well done Year 6 for a very hard working Half Term!  We hope that you are enjoying your holiday.

Have a good rest next week! Don't forget to complete your Saint name research!! This needs to be brought in on the second day back. (Tuesday 2nd June.)

Mary Day

On Friday 22nd May we, as a school, will be celebrating Mary Day.

In year 6 we will be looking very closely at Mary's feast days and the prayers in which She is mentioned.

What feats days and prayers do you know?

Confirmation preparation

This week we will be focusing on Pentecost and the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Watch this short video to remind you about what happened at Pentecost.

Do you know the names of the Fruits and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit?

Research them for your lesson. Think about how you will use these once you receive them.

This song might help you remember the Fruits!!!!!
